CASTLE MUSEUM
Natural history museum with beautiful collections of butterflies, beetles and other insects
Facing the Mont Chauve, it was for five centuries the property of lords and private individuals before being bought by the commune in 1992. One year later, the Natural History Museum was created. It houses beautiful collections; entomology occupies an important place with a dozen classifications totaling a reserve of nearly 70,000 specimens of butterflies, beetles and other insects. Two other rooms allow visitors to discover naturalized animals from the five continents. A room of regional geology completes the whole.
