FÊTE DE LA SAINT ROCH

In the heart of August, the Saint-Roch festivities attract tourists and locals alike to the village of Valbonne. In a traditional, festive atmosphere, the festivities include a Provencal parade, a ball, a visit to the communal vineyard, festive evenings, fireworks, the blessing of animals, theater... Saint Roch is the "protector" of the commune, hence the name of the Chapelle Saint Roch. The procession, in which the bust of the saint is taken from the church to the chapel, is a long-standing tradition.
