MAGNELLI MUSEUM, CERAMICS MUSEUM
The museum presents a panorama of ceramics past and present, alternating with temporary exhibitions.
Nestled in a former Lérins priory, the museum is a remarkable Provencal fortified house, rebuilt in 1568 and embellished with two towers. Its second floor houses works by pioneering Florentine abstract artist Alberto Magnelli (1888-1971), as well as his personal collection bequeathed to the town by his widow. On the second floor, visitors can discover ceramic creations of yesterday and today, punctuated by captivating temporary exhibitions.
