It is nestled in the gallery of the Casino store, a little out of the historic centre. Le Démocrate is a convivial place which is articulated around 4 spaces: the terrace, the mezzanine, the brewery and the bodega. Estelle, the mistress of the house loves interior decoration and it shows! A very beautiful harmony reigns through different atmospheres
A cosy lounge area with club armchairs and coffee tables. We stop there for an aperitif, accompanied by some tapas, offered on the slate.
A contemporary snack area where you can quietly nibble your dish in the mezzanine equipped with standing mangers
A brasserie/restaurant side where the décor is resolutely chic with parquet flooring and beautifully set tables
The cooking is simple and fresh. The "brasserie" menu focuses on burgers, bagels, paninis, hotdogs or salads. It is completed by the suggestions of the day which are declined on the slate such as the fillet of place with two curries and coconut milk, basmati rice, roast beef with garlic and thyme juice, mashed potatoes or the duck leg confit and its parsleyed potatoes..
All for a very wise addition. Some evenings there are mini concerts and theme nights. Feel free to consult their Face book page to know the program. Note the ease of parking, which is extremely rare in Vence!
