Museum preserving a rich collection of contemporary art that Henri Goetz, a French-American painter and engraver in Villefranche
This donation of contemporary art by Henri Goetz, a Franco-American painter and engraver, to the commune of Villefranche-sur-Mer occupies the entire floor of the old barracks building, which has been completely restored. The museum exhibits about fifty works by Christine Boumeester, about the same number by Henri Goetz and a few souvenir works by the great contemporary masters that the two artists worked with, such as Picasso, Picabia, Miro and Hartung. The museum also offers tactile resin paintings reproducing works that illustrate their artistic career.
