The exhibition How Extremism Wants to Deceive the People, which takes place at the Camp des Milles, deciphers the mechanisms of propaganda using the examples of Nazism and Petainism. Organized in collaboration with the Washington Holocaust Memorial Museum, visitors discover how the Third Reich and the Vichy regime used propaganda and stigmatization to achieve their anti-democratic goals. Lies were the preferred weapon of those who carried out these radical ambitions.
