Très belle découverte de ce restaurant en sous-sol. Les plats étaient très bons et le service impeccable. Nous reviendrons très certainement!

We came here on a quiet evening in late November. The host spoke fairly good English and helped us with the order and recommended a very nice local wine. We had the tasting menu - all the dishes were not fancy but all were quite tasty, especially the gnocchi dish. The host was very generous and even offered us to taste this year's beaujolais nouveau. The restaurant is decorated like a cave, so it was very interesting and creates an intimate setting. Overall, we had a very pleasant time here. Highly recommended.

Nous nous sommes regalés. Par contre service très long. Nous avions commandé des desserts. Malheureusement nous sommes partis avant car c etait trop long. (1h20 d attente entre la fin du plat et les desserts mais jamais servis)

Lieu authentique, cuisine faite maison et savoureuse, digne des plus grandes tables.
Le chef et le service de salle sont extrêmement sympathique, je recommande cet incontournable d Aix.

Quelle soirée riche pour nos papilles ???? Acceuil superbe! Nous avons même discuté avec le cuisto ???? cuisine délicieuse, copieuse et créative! Nous recommandons ce restaurant avec cette ambiance sous terre, coupée du monde. À bientôt ????????

Great yummy food, had the slow cooked beef and the ravioli. The wine was very nice and our server knew some English and that was helpful, very authentic and the decor was really cool, you feel like you're under the vineyard. Great for a romantic dinner and at a good price also.

Très joli restaurant, ambiance chaleureuse et intimiste.
Du fait maison à prix abordable, les portions sont généreuse et la nourriture est vraiment excellente.
La patronne est attentive et est a l’écoute de ses clients.

Non fatevi fermare dal fatto che il ristorante è seminterrato. Personale cordiale, che aiuta nella scelta anche se non masticate la lingua francese. Piccolo aperitivo di benvenuto offerto dalla casa. Abbiamo provato la pasta fatta in casa, davvero ben fatta e con condimenti di gran qualità. Anche qui, non giudicate dalle apparenze in quanto la presentazione ricorda più un locale turistico (grissino insieme alla pasta, pomodoro e prezzemolo interi). Assaggiate e vi innamorerete di questo locale!

Visiting Aix on holiday and couldn't speak French but had a lovely meal at Chez Nine. The waitress was patient and helpful, and the food portions were generous. We ordered the lamb and the beef tartare, both of which were delicious.

Truly an authentic french experience, with beautiful food, charming service, and a tasteful decor, all at an affordable price. Being a vegetarian I was happy to find that there was plenty of choice, and I chose the tagliatelle with spicy tomato and coconut sauce. The food was fresh, hot and delicious, it could not have been any better! we were supplied with english menus which was very helpful considering our French is limited. The owners were very welcoming and charming. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem and I cannot recommend it enough!

This was a fantastic experience. We avoided all the tourist traps around Aix-en-Provence and tried to find a hidden gem, which is exactly what this place is. The food was flawless, perfectly presented and the portion sizes were great. The pulled lamb was one of the best dishes i've ever eaten. The husband and wife who run it were very sweet and made the restaurant feel alive with passion.

What a delight! This charming restaurant sits downstairs off the street in what looks like a wine cellar. The menu is not extensive, but the food is thoughtfully and beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. We enjoyed a poached salmon on linguini, Saltimbocca, the filet au poivre, and a ravioli made with feta,mint and fava beans in a delicate cream sauce. The desserts were just as lovely, from the tiramisu and tarte citron to a molten chocolate cake. Service was relaxed but attentive, and the proprietress managed our lack of French language skills with grace and good humor. On a Tuesday evening, we had the place to ourselves. If you find yourself in Aix-en-Provence, this one should not be missed.

Une découverte étonnante de ce tout petit restaurant dans une petite rue d’Aix. Un couple de restaurateurs passionnés qui aiment autant cuisiner que recevoir, un accueil extraordinaire et un délice pour les papilles.
Le mari est à la cuisine et l’épouse au service. Ce couple d’expérience ont le commerce dans la peau et vous font vous sentir bien. Même arrivés à 21h45 sans réservation, on nous a servi le repas sans souci sans nous presser de partir et même un verre offert.
Le lieu est complètement atypique: un restaurant en sous-sol fait dans une ancienne cave à huile en pierre. Un ambiance un peu rétro super agréable.
La cuisine y est excellente et entièrement faite maison aussi bien les pâtes fraîches que tous les plats et desserts. La carte varie souvent au fil des fruits et des légumes de saison. La viande y est de grande qualité, en résumé tout est excellent. De plus les assiettes sont très bien présentées. Toutes les saveurs et l’équilibre des plats sont étonnantes et vous épatent les papilles.
À connaître avant leur départ pour une retraite qu’ils méritent parfaitement. Je recommande vraiment cette expérience culinaire.

Décor chaleureux . Carte simple au niveau choix mais suffisante pour choisir des plats délicieux. et copieux. Nous avons goûté et apprécié un vin bio intéressant . Le café gourmand était bien garni et délicieux. Nous y retournerons sans aucun doute.
