The origin of CAP - for Compagnie des Coaches de Provence - dates back to 1961. Its founder Georges Curnier first exploits the bus line between Martigues and Aix-en-Provence. His son Bernard succeeded the company's management in 1991, assisted by his brother Christian in charge of the workshop. The CAP then has 30 coaches and 40 employees. In 1993, a major turning point, CAP decided to rely on Transdev, a subsidiary of Caisse des Dépôts. In 2006, CAP distinguished in CAP Provence its public transport activities and CAP Tourism its tourism transport activities. Now, backed by Veolia Transdev, CAP deploys a fleet of 190 vehicles from the mpv to the bus because tourism has a team of 240 people. CAP transports 2 200 passengers a day in Bouches-du-Rhône! A company that puts the eco-friendly attitude within the Aix, which can move without getting tired with regular lines in the country of Aix, the 13 (Regional Express Line Toulon/Aix), the regular and school lines Car Cartreize, the organisation of excursions, the rental of coaches.
