Mediterranean cuisine based on fresh products to enjoy on the terrace

Le Bocage is a family house, Gilles Serrus, a local child, transformed it into a restaurant a few years ago. The setting is refined, the tables are nicely laid, the atmosphere is friendly, it is chic but not stuffy... Gilles cooks Mediterranean cuisine with a few exotic notes here and there, coriander, curry, coconut milk which enhance the market products. The menu changes regularly. The wines of the region match your plate. In summer, there is a pretty garden terrace sheltered from the street, but you must reserve your place

In an idyllic setting, this courtyard Provence guards the shade and freshness with a large plane tree cut for circumstances. The decoration of the tables aniseed green, brown and white means that exudes a serene atmosphere and soothing by this midday heat wave. The menu at €32 has a balanced choice for our tastes: foie gras cooking splendidly decorated by the fig jam and bonito to lying vegetables of Provence. Then the flavours of lamb with vegetables from midday are tasty and flavours sea bream fillet and saint Jacques with this harmonious compote of vegetables. To finish expenses dessert consisting of a round of paste with donut with tastes with orange blossom of confectioner's custard a pyramid of small perfumed strawberries. Wine washed down with the entire country.
It is beautiful this restaurant run by young locals.
We will go back next year but not to chance of a discovery of the streets... today, the discovery was illuminatoire for the day.
As always, I the opinions of Petit Futé: once again, I was not disappointed. My family enjoy fresh and delicious. Good quality/price ratio.
