La Mercerie is one of Marseille's new bistronomic, or even semi-gastronomic, addresses, which are the talk of the town, both locally and nationally, with Gault & Millau in particular praising it. A hybrid place dedicated to good food, of course, often taken over by teams invited to cook for an evening's "take-over". The restaurant is the brainchild of three gourmet adventurers: Harry Cummins in the kitchen, Laura Vidal, the sommelier, and Julia Mitton, the manager. Lentils and pasta seem a little confusing for this restaurant…wine is very expensive by french standards for French wine. Service and atmosphere were impeccable which almost stopped my negative rating…however after 3 attempts at paying by card refused is totally frustrating esp as it took 1 hour waiting online to unblock card afterwards….this restaurant wants cash or revoult….??? Bank confirmed issue with card processor.

Top. De la cuisine avec un vrai C majuscule. Ca se la pète pas mais ca bosse. Chapeau l'équipe. Je vous souhaite que du bon. On reviendra et pas qu'à l'occasion. Un bon petit vin en biodynamie a 47e rond et minéral à la fois. Une formule à 35e pour cette qualité on ne peut vouloir qu'y aller. On était 4 on est tous sous le charme. Merci la mercerie.
Menton plus plus pour les desserts je n'en prend presque jamais et j'ai regretté lorsque mon épouse m'a fait goûter le sien
