Au Cœur du Panier offers traditional cuisine prepared with market produce. On the menu you'll find Marseilles specialties of meat and fish. Ideal for a break during a day's sightseeing in the heart of Marseille's oldest district, or after a visit to one of the city's finest museums, the Vieille Charité. We love the place's vintage decor, with wrought-iron tables, formica and straw chairs and other objects straight out of the 1950s.

I ate as a starter camembert (cheese with honey and nuts) with jam and onions. Then, I had as main course a beef tartare with egg and potatos. I also drank red wine!
