Seafood platters served in a good address in Marseille.

On the Place Castellane, the Massena Café delights you with its seafood platters. The restaurant is composed of two spaces, a large room on the first floor and a mezzanine offering a more intimate setting and ideal for bad weather days. The terrace has a covered and heated area and an outdoor area. The dish of the day that day: Thai-style veal sauté, grilled andouillette, fried mussels or butcher's cut. As for seafood lovers, they will be in heaven... The service is efficient. A good address.

Ce restaurant est toujours bondé et très bruyant. Les tables sont entassées. Le service est relativement rapide vu le monde. La formule du jour à 13 euro est très bonne et bon rapport qualité prix. Par contre, le plateau de fruits de mer dans la formule à 25 euros est très décevant. Il n'y a rien à manger. Grande fan de fruits de mer, je ne les ai pas trouvé bons et la mayonnaise est encore pire. Attention aux novices seules les crevettes dont cuites et ce n'ai pas précisé!

One of my favourite brasserie in Marseille. Fill iodine reservoir for and face the winter it is ideal. Seafood is delicious. I took the tour de France oysters. Duck foie gras are good for a sandwich bread toast. I would have been brioche bread or another idea. For the tart flambée with the grand marnier - perfect for the amount of grand marnier but the pancake is too thick and cold. The place is nice and the service is efficient and friendly

Nous avons mangés au Massena café la semaine dernière.Nous avons été très déçus du rapport qualité/prix, les prix exorbitants ne sont pas à la hauteur des plats servis ( sauce salade toute prête, soupe de poisson à l'eau , palourde mal cuites et mal nettoyées, dessert plus que banal). De plus la nonchalance des serveurs n'arrange pas la situation. Je déconseillerais donc fortement ce restaurant.

I love! Pleasant as well by restaurant lunch or dinner, coffee in the afternoon. The setting is nice, the efficient and brisk service, the excellent and hearty dishes and very soft prices! Plateaus shells, with the most sought simplest dishes or any absolutely perfect rest! Only small inconvenience, the noisy terrace. but the covered terrace (and smoky) is there to compensate...
