Elegant Greek Revival villa with heated pool, breathtaking views of the sea and a 5-star restaurant.

Le Petit Nice Passédat, in existence since 1917, is one of the city's most renowned establishments. The town's only Relais & Châteaux, this neo-Greek villa boasts breathtaking views out to sea. Contemplating the breathtaking view, sunbathing, swimming by the sea and/or in the small heated pool will make you forget the hustle and bustle of the city. A refined setting, classic, spacious rooms, from which you can hear the lapping of the waves!

Une expérience parfaite : une cuisine raffinée et recherchée tournée vers la mer, un staff pro très sympa et la vue époustouflante

Came here on a Tony Bourdain self given tour. So happy we did. Had no idea it would be a perfect place with the best view of the Med Sea. Probably one reason he would have retired in Marseille.

Five stars? We travelled in France for years and stayed at many hotels from "Chateau and Relais" collection. This one is by a large margin the most expensive and absolutely the worst. Chateau class properties typically have unique architecture, interesting character, nice rooms and grounds. This place has none. The room we got was a combo of a bedroom and bathroom including the tub and two sinks. It was long and narrow. So narrow that one had to squeeze sideways to get around the bed on one side. The advertised "sea view" was very restricted. The room we were given had nothing to do with what they show on the web side. There is no direct sea access - one has to get out of the hotel grounds and climb down the rocks to get to water. There is no beach - just slippery rocks. The staff is aloof and the street leading to the hotel is so narrow that driving even a small car is a stressful exercise. The Michelin 3-star one had only one fixed menu while on the web they show several. The Bistro had only one hot item on the menu (lamb) every day. We ate at the Bistro once and the food was OK but nothing special, but the same menu with one hot plate every day at a 5 star hotel? See photos.

Disappointing experience...
Monsieur Passedat's cuisine was excellent but is unfortunately not sublimated and highlighted by the staff who are not up to the standard of a 3 star..
We found ourselves in a room and a sad and cold atmosphere, like the staff and the chef.
The staff hardly spoke, the explanations which accompanied the dishes were recited by heart.
In addition, the prices charged are too excessive.
Finally, we saw the chef several times throughout our meal, but did not introduce himself to us at all.
What a pity !
