Local specialities and delicious pizzas, concocted by a very nice couple in Marseille.

For the past twenty years, Evelyne and Thierry have been welcoming regulars to their establishment in the Pointe Rouge, a stone's throw from the port and the beach of the same name. A very nice couple who proposes local specialities such as the Bouille à l'ancienne, a small bouillabaisse composed of a fish soup accompanied by shellfish, fielas and monkfish. Also shrimps in persillade or mussels cocotte very generous. Pizza lovers will not be left out. The greediest will be satisfied: a buffet in a central island with a multitude of desserts, all home-made! Magnificent! A sure value, recommended by the Petit Futé!

Nous voulions déjeuner après notre randonnée à vélo. Le tour opérateur, qui se trouvait juste en dessous de ce restaurant, nous l'a recommandé. Nous y sommes donc allés pour un déjeuner copieux. La nourriture était excellente et le service très bon. Nous parlions assez bien le français et ils parlaient assez bien l'anglais pour que tout se passe bien. Ils étaient très sympathiques.

C'est toujours avec plaisir que nous retournons aux Trottoirs Marseillais. Le personnel a toujours été très accueillant et sympathique, et les repas sont excellents. Et les desserts sont à tomber. Hautement recommandé si vous vous trouvez à la Pointe Rouge, Marseille. Si vous invitez des amis à dîner, vous êtes toujours sûr de leur offrir un excellent repas.
