Booking a table at Le Sens de la Toupine is a sure bet. Indeed, the chef, Sylvain Floutier, has solid references in the field of gastronomy: master restaurateur since 2017, disciple of Escoffier, member of the Collège culinaire de France as a quality restaurant... Yet, despite this plethora of distinctions, Sylvain's cuisine remains above all a matter of man, encounters and especially emotions. A man of the South, rooted in this land that he calls blessed by the gods, he naturally favours local products that he transforms and adapts according to his inspiration. In this area, there seems to be no limits.
If the kitchen and reception are impeccable, so is the atmosphere of the place. You can, according to your desires, sit down in the interior lounge, near the magnificent fireplace and enjoy an exceptional selection of rums or enjoy a vast terrace that offers a breathtaking view of the Etang de Berre.
We really loved it and, of course, we warmly recommend this restaurant, which was taken over by the young chef in 2018.
