SIX BUCKET WELL
Go there and contact
A remarkable Renaissance-style well in Orbenai, formed by three Corinthian columns supporting a baldachin.
This well is undoubtedly the most photographed by tourists and for postcards! Built in 1579 in Renaissance style, it was once painted with sumptuous decorations. Although these have now disappeared, it remains remarkable for its three columns with Corinthian capitals supporting an octagonal canopy with sculptures inspired by the New Testament. The inscriptions correspond to the Bread of Life discourse and Christ's conversation with the Samaritan woman at Jacob's Well.
