L’ABEILLE DE FLEURIEL

The bee exploitation of Claudine and Christian Garden has 150 hives spread within a radius of 25 km around the miellerie. Thanks to the vitrées, you will see the pollen workers, the ventileuses at the entrance of the hive, the queen, her yard and the birth of bees. From mid-May to mid-September, during the honey harvest, you will attend on-line extraction. The annual production is three tons, packed in 500 g pots made of honey all flowers, spring flowers, dandelion flowers, honey of chestnut or forest, but also royal jelly, the flagship product of the miellerie. After the visit, Claudine offers a tasting of the natural products of the hive and also proposes the sale of derivatives, such as homemade gingerbread bread, soap, sweets, nougat. An exciting visit!
