Ancelle is a small town in the Hautes-Alpes region, at the gateway to the Ecrins National Park. The Soldanelles farm, located in the hamlet of Les Matherons, offers a unique agricultural experience. At an altitude of 1300m, the farm features an agroforestry orchard, a strawberry mandala, market gardening on living soil, laying hens and a flock of donkeys. The farm's farmers practice permaculture and biodynamics, respecting nature and the environment. In addition to fresh produce such as organic vegetables, potatoes, squash and eggs, they also offer a range of processed products such as artisan jams, wild garlic pestos, flavored vinegars and oils. The farm also has two self-catering cottages for those wishing to stay on site and discover the farm's activities as well as the magnificent scenery of the Champsaur valley and surrounding area.
