A nice surprise in Briançon with Aurore and Florian who have opened Le Mélèzime. A beautiful terrace facing the fortress, and a warm and inviting dining room with a magnificent mural by Amandine Balacé. In this most pleasant of settings, home cooking, a menu that changes with the seasons, dishes devised according to meetings with local producers, and beautiful combinations of flavors on plates like this crumble of chanterelle mushrooms, carrots and shallots served with grapefruit coleslaw. A wonderful discovery.
