Restaurant with terrace offering a quality meal with local accents
As usual, the sun is shining on Briançon, and you don't want to be cooped up in the city of Vauban! Park easily in the Champ-de-Mars parking lot and cross the road to Italy to find yourself at one of the town's most pleasant terraces, and one of its best addresses too! You'll be greeted with a warm welcome and welcomed into a dining room with a panoramic view, where you can enjoy a quality meal with local accents, starting with the Plat Haut Alpin: specialities from the Hautes-Alpes (tourtons, ravioles...) served on a wooden plank. Unmissable cheese specialties - fondues, raclettes and tartiflettes - look south with a Provençal fondue. Yes, the menu does have some welcome southern accents, with grilled lamb chops with Provence herbs, but also with Sisteron lamb feet and packages... Air and scents! The in-house Vauban menu is one of our favorites, the dessert menu still delights, and the wine list is full of good ideas. An address that's been at the top of its game for years, and still warmly recommended by Le Futé.
