FERN CASTLE
Pink and black brick castle with sculptures, the Festiv'Allier with music and traditional dances in its courtyard.
All of the pink and black bricks, the manor house, officially dating back to 1580, has a great elegance. Today, the family of sculptor Erich Engelbrecht lives in the places and exhibits monumental steel sculptures, some painted in several colors. In front of the castle's courtyard, a mighty "Blacksmith" thus supports his hundred-five tonnes of metal on bourbonnaise earth. It is in the heart of this green landscape that Festiv'Allier invites you every year in August to five days of music and dance to warm conviviality… This festival is full of humanity. We are not just discovering traditional music and dances that will make you travel from Sweden to Portugal through the British Isles, but rather meet musicians and dancers, share together the same passion and pleasure… Dance, music, swimming in the pond, walks, aperitif balls, concerts and dancing to the point of the day!
