An establishment that has a soul, a history, because we are in the presence of Bernard and his wife, the second generation of hoteliers, so generous that for more than 30 years have welcomed us to the Verdun in spacious and bright rooms in a sober and well-kept establishment. We do not hesitate to take advantage of its attractive prices to rest between two stops on the Alpine route or for a stay in Gap. In the heart of the city, - it is also the meeting place for sportsmen (rugby, football...) and motorcyclists are welcome -, we discover a friendly establishment that offers the best welcome to groups. You can't miss the restaurant area, in a large square room reminiscent of 19th century American architecture. The family cuisine never forgets its roots in the local soil, delicious feet and packages of Sisteron, and reserves for us beautiful surprises of the vintage in the menu of Champsaur with the unavoidable tourtons. The wine list is also full of conversation. An address to remember, both for the quality of the cuisine and the kindness of its welcome. Without forgetting that Gap is a beautiful city of Provence without being too big but with everything you need, well situated as surrounded by large mountains (very beautiful scenery, full of possible activities).
