NOTRE-DAME-ET-SAINT-ARNOUX CATHEDRAL
Notre-Dame-et-Saint-Arnoux Cathedral with a 70 m high bell tower-porch, and balconies with beautiful arches and columns
A cathedral that stands out in the heart of the city centre with a 70 m high bell tower-porch. The alternation of stones of different colours is due to the use of local materials such as pink marble from Chorges. It was built from 1867 to 1905, on the plans of the architect Charles Laisné according to the Romanesque-Provençal and Gothic styles. Inside, the organ located high up at the entrance is very imposing. Balconies with beautiful arcades and columns go around the church.
