QUEYRAS REGIONAL NATURE PARK
Regional natural park offering a particularly abundant fauna and a varied flora, to discover in Mont-Dauphin.
The abundance of a varied fauna and flora justified, among other things, the classification of the Queyras as a regional nature park in 1977. Thanks to the combination of mountains and sunshine, the park is home to plants of Provencal origin, but also from much colder regions. As far as fauna is concerned, marmots, eagles and speckled nutcrackers (birds of about 30 cm) can be seen feeding on the arolle seeds produced by the cembro pines.
