MONTGENÈVRE
Ideally located at 1 m 860 m, on a pass close to the Italian border, Montgenevre is a place of skiing in the Hexagon region. The atmosphere is rather sexy and trendy! This is the only French station connected to the ski fields that hosted the Alpine tests of the Turin Olympic winter games in 2006. In this huge area with 400 km of tracks, the trails join, offering a variety of breathtaking landscapes, from one side to the next. In summer, explore the Valley valley, hiking or mountain biking. A geological trail of 200 m will let you discover all the varieties of rocks present in the valley. For less fatigue, bikers and hikers, you can even borrow three chair (Chalvet, Observatory and the Eagle Rock, which rises to 2 760 m altitude) as well as two Cable (Chalmettes and Chalvet) located on each slope of the valley. Childcare facilities for children (daycare for up to 6 years, «P'tits Hill» for ages 6 to 12) and thematic courses (day or week) organized by performing professionals for the 7 to 16 years.
