The building that houses the Claux museographic space is classified as a 20th century heritage site and is located in a working hydroelectric plant. This 110m2 space presents the importance of the history of the designer Gilbert Planche, the history of the modernization of the plant and provides information on the place of the plant in the production of Electricité de France and the Durance. The site was designed above the engine room, which is visible through a large bay window.
