PETTY CHAPEL

Chapel with petetes or dolls and naive statuettes sculpted by Jacques Pascal, the altar covered with embossed leather from Cordoba.
A rare example of folk art in the region, this chapel is a unique place, mixing "petètes" - which means dolls in patois - with naive statuettes sculpted by Jacques Pascal between 1930 and 1941, housed in the small niches on the façade of the building. Inside, the altar covered with embossed Cordoba leather comes from the chapel of the former Lesdiguières castle. As for the cross, which dates from 1741 and is located in front of the chapel, it is also the work of Jacques Pascal.
