HÔTEL-RESTAURANT LA CROIX DES BOIS
In the heart of the Colettes forest, Sumara and Jozef are the owners of the restaurant La Croix des Bois. They welcome you in a room with 30 covers and from the sunny days on the terrace with 10 covers with panoramic views over the Sioule valley. The chef navigates between traditional French and regional cuisine and Mediterranean cuisine. Everything is homemade and the menu changes twice a year. You taste, gizzard salad, then trout flounder marinated in papillote or guinea fowl stuffed with Charente pineau juice, truffled crust or tender plain beef or blue sauce, to finish with profiteroles. From autumn onwards, you will find game. It also offers a vegetarian menu or dish. Four times a year, they organize theme evenings, such as the mussel fry evening in June, and festive menus for all occasions. The wine list of the region and elsewhere is very correct.
