Le Soum, a museum of arts and traditions, with a barn as exhibition space and store in Saint-Véran.
The walls and many of the objects are reminiscent of a past when life in Saint-Véran was that of a village of mountain dwellers confronted with the rigors of a hostile environment. Here, we enter the intimacy of a traditional house built in the mid-seventeenth century. The shepherd's room, the common room, the bread shed or the wooden balcony used to "spread" the crops, nothing has changed for nearly 400 years. The barn is used as a showroom and a store.
