LE REFUGE NAPOLÉON
Hotel-restaurant with a menu of organic products, specialities and meat from the Hautes-Alpes
On the slopes of the Vars pass, facing the lake and the summits, this hotel-restaurant offers 7 rooms and a dormitory. It is a magnificent mountain refuge opened in 1858 in execution of the will of Napoleon I who allocated a sum to the region in gratitude for its welcome during the Hundred Days. The restaurant's menu features organic local produce, specialties and meats from the Hautes-Alpes, aromatic plants and herbs. In the afternoon, the tea room offers a wide variety of teas, chocolates and coffees from various origins, and homemade pastries.
