Ecomuseum telling the history of the railway workers in Veynes, from 1850 to today, with reconstructions, a garden exhibiting objects.

In the heart of the railway city, this museum will make you discover the whole universe of the train in Veynes. All the local history of the railroaders, from 1850 to nowadays, as well as its economic importance, are retraced here thanks to the numerous reconstitutions, materials, various topos, models etc. Railwaymen will accompany you during the visit. Garden where many emblematic objects of the railroads and the shop-library are exposed. Do not miss the dramatized visits.

Open from June to September from Wednesday to Saturday, from 2 to 6 pm. Other school vacations: Wednesday to Saturday, from 2 to 6 pm. For groups: Possibility of guided tour every day, by appointment only. The other school vacations, open from Wednesday to Saturday from 2pm to 6pm. Free for children under 4 years old. Adults: 4 €. Children (from 4 to 18 years old) : 2 €. Duration of the visit : 1h30. Store and bookstore. Vacation vouchers.

Very warm welcome, with a first already amazing discovery: the composting of tickets train as before. A price more than reasonable for an interactive visit nice and full of surprises. Information points with short but complete videos. Reconstructions pleasantly surprising. A journey through a poignant testimony of former railwaymen. A return to the extraordinary past!
