The prestigious Michelin Gastronomic Guide has just unveiled its 2019 list of winners. Among the 68 restaurants promoted to one star, we find Les Oliviers, the gourmet restaurant of the Hôtel Île Rousse in Bandol. Chef Jérémy Czaplicki thus received his first major gastronomic distinction. A beautiful reward for this student of Jean-François Rouquette, whose cuisine is part of a contemporary and creative range, inspired by the treasures of the Mediterranean, with seasonal products, carefully chosen from the region's producers, market gardeners and fishermen. Facing the magnificent bay of Renécros, the inspector was able to appreciate some of the Chef's specialities, such as Loup confit with basil oil, Blue Lobster grilled on the barbecue, Carré de porcelet roasted with mustard seeds, Rhubarb & strawberries in 3 courses...
