Nous nous sommes arrêtés devant ce restaurant dès notre arrivée sur Bormes les Mimosas, et sommes rentrés pour dîner c'était excellent. Ce maître restaurateur concocte des plats très raffinés, une cuisine savoureuse. Le personnel de salle aux petits soins et très agréable, tout comme le chef à qui nous avons pu parler en quittant le restaurant. Nous reviendrons et vraiment si vous avez l'occasion arrêtez vous dans ce restaurant vous ne le regretterez pas.

Had a pretty bad experience here tonight. My wife was disappointed with the linguine (overcooked, lack of taste and sorry looking seafood). When being asked how the meal was, I gave the honest feedback and was encouraged to speak to the chef in the kitchen. My wife worked in seafood many years and honestly thought the seafood tasted frozen (watery, shrunk).

As later confirmed from reading responses to all negative feedback below, he was pretty defensive. It was actually an intimidating experience.

He explained that they cooked with local ingredients and passion, and that it was busy night so couldn't expect everything to be perfect. It was indeed a busy night, and to be fair we had an okayish meal overall - some good dishes (sardines, caillette) but clearly overpriced. The view made up for it to some extent, and the service was warm.

But having an argumentative chef react defensively to reasonable feedback after being invited to give feedback kind of spoiled the one big family meal of our holiday unfortunately.

It's a nice place - and lovely toy shop attached. Just don't expect fine dining.

On revient chaque année et la cuisine du chef est toujours de qualité.
Produits frais, saveur des plats, etc ……
Service à la hauteur de l’établissement : bienveillance, gentillesse, explications des plats proposés.
