Restaurant with terrace in Sainte-Maxime preparing creative and home-made dishes with fresh products

The new owners, Claire and Patrick Derobert, have kept the identity of the restaurant, the one that made its reputation. The old advertising posters on the theme of pasta still have their place, as well as the soft cushions on the shaded terrace. In this very cosy and warm place, with a very family atmosphere, the watchword is home-made. Here, everything is made on the spot, the products are fresh, the dishes are cooked to the minute and the chef likes to let his creativity go, pan-fried octopus with chorizo, ravioli niçois au jus de daube.

Nous avons testé ce restaurant sur la recommandation d'amis qui sont des habitués. Nous n'avons pas été déçus malgré la foule d'août à Sainte-Maxime (réservation obligatoire...). Le service est très aimable et efficace, voire un peu expéditif (mais on comprend que ce n'est pas la période idéale). Les pâtes fraîches maison sous toutes les formes étaient excellentes et l'entrecôte était à tomber. De bonnes idées pour les entrées également. Une très bonne adresse à tester dans un autre contexte, plus cool, hors saison.
