LA GAUDINA
Establishment with sunny terrace on the beach in the town center, offering cuisine with evocative dish names
On the beach in the center of town, La Gaudina offers a beautiful sunny terrace overlooking the sand and the sea. The exotic furnishings immediately transport you to tropical latitudes, but make no mistake, the chef's cuisine celebrates Provence with evocative dish names. For example, you will find "Lu farcit Nissart", small stuffed dishes from Nice to share, or a "cacalausado", a pan-fried snail with tomato sauce from "Mémé". For the main courses, fish, but also andouillette or bavette.

1) He started an unnecessary discussion, when it was clearly his mistake that he forgot to bring the correct food. Instead of bringing the right food (no problem, that can happen) he started to put the blame on my friend.
2) He brought us bread that was inedible, even though other guests received fresh bread (it was not just toasty, it was days old).
3) He started to clear the table even though my friend was still eating which is the most disrespectful thing you can do in my view, he even started to ask for desert and took the plate she was still eating on.
Unfortunately the service is inseparably connected to the whole experience, which is why i have to give this excellent restaurant such a bad rating even though the food and location are phenomenal and the rest of the staff seemed to be pretty friendly and made a good job.
