CONSULAR PALACE ALBERTAS QUAIL
A beautiful baroque palace of the 17th century located not far from the cathedral of Sainte-Anne and is one of the beautiful residences of Apt.
The perfectly preserved Hôtel Colin d'Albertas is located on this small shady square, close to the Sainte Anne Cathedral. Built at the request of the Consul d'Albertas in the middle of the 17th century, this palace, a jewel of Provençal Baroque art, is contemporary with the arrival of Anne of Austria on pilgrimage to Apt. This private residence is an exceptional historical monument: baroque interior decorations with the opulence of the gypseries, the sumptuousness of the frescoes and painted ceilings.
