Restaurant offering various formulas to take away or to taste on the spot in Avignon.
We come here to eat bread in the vintage decor of a French bistro from the 1940s and 1950s. In fine weather, we prefer the terrace under the plane trees near the fountain. Large, thick slices of bread, lightly browned, are topped with fresh goat's cheese and thyme, marinated anchovies, tomato and garlic, brie de Meaux, walnuts and acacia honey, and the latest, goat's cheese and salmon, served with a small salad. For dessert, verrines, cakes and tarts. In the afternoon, we meet for a bowl of chicory or a cup of tea. Takeaway formulas available at the counter.

La cuisine est simple, servie rapidement.
Le restaurant est très bien placé en centre-ville, très pratique de manger là quand on visite la ville.
