LE PETIT CREUX - BAR RESTAURANT
Seasonal menus with a good quality/price ratio, including small dishes to enjoy in Avignon.
Anchored on the ground floor of Hôtel d'Entreprises de la Croix Rouge, Le Petit Creux was not long to get many customers. Here, you will meet a great diversity of customers. Suits mix with casual dress, which gives an atmosphere quite particular to this friendly place. The seasonal menus are of good value for money, light meals are well furnished and friendly service. Daily special, meat, salads are always impeccable. You will not come here to enjoy a convoluted cuisine, but to eat family recipes: stew or soup in winter, quiche cod, chicken vol-au-vent, veal osso-buco, tartiflette, but also, calf's head with ravigote sauce, kidneys with mustard and madeira... And real chips, cut with a knife and all! The desserts - all homemade - are extras: floating island, fig tart, chocolate fondant, tiramisù with fruits ... As for wine, nothing to say whether it is in pitcher or bottle (Cellier des Chartreux, Beaumes de Venise). The reception is like the place, simple but tasteful. An address recommended (we even push you to book).
