Restaurant with a small dark room and a large shaded terrace in Avignon.
Located behind the place Crillon. If you come through rue Mazan (another entrance on the terrace side), you hesitate to go back, because it seems to be small and dark, but after a small room, you can reach the large shady terrace, with vine plant climbing the stone walls. You can hear the sound of the church bell tower nearby and the birds singing, it is relaxing. In summer, the terrace is obviously crowded. The welcome is friendly, they serve with smile and gentleness a homemade cuisine. Burger, tartare, tuna steak… Nothing extravagant but well executed and copious classical dishes. Booking advised!

La Cour de Caro ne paye pas de mine quand on se pointe vers 19h30 et que le restaurant est vide mais l’accueil du patron en cuisine devant lequel on passe en entrant et de la patronne sont très sympathiques. La salle comme la petite terrasse ombragée ont du charme et la carte est limitée. Le caviar d’aubergines est délicieux mais servi moulée dans un ramequin rond ne lui donne pas meilleure allure - à revoir vite la présentation ! S’en suit un steak tartare et un filet de poisson à l’huile d’Olive vierge. C’est bon mais ça manque un peu de saveur, il faudrait améliorer tout ça pour rendre l’endroit vraiment plaisant. Le vin était bon en bouteille de 50cl. Rapport qualité prix correct, présente l’avantage d’être au calme après une journée chargée au festival.

Très bonne cuisine pas trop de choix mais suffisamment 4 entrés 4 plat chaud ce qui prouve le fait maison
