Camping in the heart of the green lung of Avignon with a shady park ideal for a relaxing stay for campers

The campsite is also located in the heart of the green lung of Avignon, the largest river island in Europe, namely opposite the ramparts, on the island of Barthelasse. It has a shaded park of 5 hectares, only 5 km from the city centre of Avignon. The pleasant environment and the calm which reign there are the guarantees of a stay of relaxation in the papal city. The restaurant offers daily dishes for lunch and dinner, and a barbecue is available for campers. The Parc des Libertés also offers accommodation for groups from April to mid-September.

Closed from September 16th to June 15th. Except for the chalets. Land of 5 ha. 195 locations (tents, caravans, camper vans). Exposure: shaded. Soil: grassy. Relief: flat. Parking off pitches. Location from €3.90. 2 people from €8.40. (with 4 A) from €3.20. 7 chalets for 5-6 people from €280 to €400 per week. Holiday voucher. Games for children. Area for camper van. Free Wifi. Catering facilities (only in summer).

Cycle touring. Google takes one an impossible way - look at map. Campground needs improving all in all - everything except washing facilities. Staff tried to be helpful. Near the viaRhona so convenient.

Un lieu chargé de souvenirs et d'histoires à raconter à mes futurs enfants et petits-enfants ! Avec en prime une magnifique petite troupe de comédiens venus jouer leur pièce juste pour nous, un plaisir ! Un grand merci et big up aux barmans
