It's one of those small town hotels in a prime location, on the street that runs from the train station to the Palais des Papes. It's one of the oldest hotels in Avignon. The rooms on the rue de la République side have been renovated and are accessible by elevator; for the others, you'll have to take the stairs. The pleasant surprise is the tree-lined terrace where you can enjoy a quiet breakfast. There's also a rooftop area with a view over the rooftops. The bar offers cocktails, local wines, aperitifs and tapas. The lobby is welcoming.
