John Gormsen Gallery & Boutique is an art gallery in Avignon, France. The gallery presents the works of John Gormsen, a Danish painter. Born in Odense in 1964, he began expressing his artistic talent at the age of 10. By the age of 14, he was using his canvases as bicycle wheels. At 16, his first exhibition was a great success. At 21, he moved from Denmark to Paris. For 15 years, he had to put art on the back burner, but since 2000, he has been able to devote himself exclusively to it. John Gormsen's artistic expression is a blend of Scandinavian and French cultures. His works are characterized by subtle, deep colors and the use of precious metals and other mineral and plant materials. His aim is always to create luminous, contemporary works with a definite aesthetic appeal.
