OPÉRA GRAND AVIGNON

The opera house, which dates back to 1847, reopened its doors in October 2021 after 4 years of colossal renovation work, to restore it to its former glory by optimizing scenographic and technological performance as well as seating comfort. With its magnificent Italian-style auditorium, listed ceiling, gold and tassel chandelier and elaborate balconies, the new Avignon opera house has nothing to envy the greatest! Opera, operetta, opera, baroque music, chamber music, dance, theater, 95 shows are scheduled for the 2023-2024 season.
