THÉÂTRE DES HALLES - COMPAGNIE ALAIN TIMAR
Since 1983, the Théâtre des Halles has played host to the Festival Off d'Avignon in July
Housed in the former 14th-century cloister of Sainte-Claire, this theater is a creative center that also welcomes contemporary authors. Since 1983 in Avignon, director Alain Timar has taken a visual approach to directing, "unrolling a script in his head". His productions include La Chute de Troie, inspired by Homer, and Eugène Durif's C'est la faute à Rabelais. In July, as part of the Off festival, the theater opens its doors to a high-quality program.
