LOU MISTRAU
On the Place de l'Horloge, the oldest brasserie in Avignon which has known the glorious hours of Jean Vilar and Gérard Philippe. Names of prestigious actors are engraved in golden plates on the backs of the red benches in the bar room... Classified balcony, retro Parisian woodwork and small lamps on the tables. In summer, you can sit down for a coffee and a croissant on the terrace on the plane tree side for shade, if not sun. Even if it is crowded, the service is fast. For the restoration, a brasserie in continuous service in summer.

Dommage ce fût une belle brasserie..mais le patron nous a dit qu 'il préférait les touristes aux Avignonnais...A bon entendeur salut..
