the 58th edition of the internationally renowned Festival d'Avignon transforms the city into a theater stage in July.

Every July since 1947, Avignon has come alive to the rhythm of Les Trois Coups! Three strokes of the baton on the stage floor, vibrating under the talent of the actors and to the delight of the audience. Three strokes to announce each of the many plays programmed during this world-renowned festival, on the stage set up in the main courtyard of the Palais des Papes, as well as on those of the many small and large theaters scattered throughout downtown Avignon. The Festival Off is also full of surprises.

quel cadre prestigieux pour venir au théâtre ! le Palais des Papes sert de décor au festival In d'Avignon et rien que pour le site c'est une expérience à vivre. La qualité des spectacles est difficile à juger car c'est un théâtre particulier... mais vous pouvez trouver assurément une pièce classique ou de boulevard ou de café théâtre, un one man show, un clown, des danseurs, des musiciens, des magiciens.... qui vous ferons penser que votre séjour à Avignon pendant le festival est une réussite !
