An extraordinary stage that makes the heart of the festival beat. The main courtyard of the Popes' palace is home to this ephemeral stage, it feels like being on stage. Would the Avignon Festival, the "In", have known the same craze without it? For the artists and directors, it is a real honour coupled with a great technical requirement to come and present their works, in the open air, in this 14th century venue and in front of an audience of connoisseurs! The Cour d'Honneur is the guarantee of attending a performance of the highest level.
