LA PETITE CUISINE DES HALLES
La Petite Cuisine is in the heart of the halls and is a selection of chefs (or enlightened amateurs) from Avignon and the region who have followed one another since its creation. The concept? Every Saturday from 11am, a chef or a passionate cook prepares one of his recipes under the greedy eyes of the strollers. At the end of the preparation, a sommelier or a winemaker comes in to suggest food and wine pairings. Among the chefs who took part in the game were Frédéric Maillaud from L'Oulo à Mazan, Pascal Poulain, home chef, Christian Peyre the Michelin starred.... And to avoid ruining anything, the session ends with a tasting.
