The municipal sports service and the Avignon sports sports club offer children, teenagers and senior citizens (over 50 years of age) the possibility to practice almost sports activities (rugby, swimming, educational boxing, fencing, athletics…) supervised by the city's educators. An offer that addresses both the Avignon and the inhabitants of the Greater Avignon area. 18 gyms, 13 stages and 5 swimming pools are at your disposal for your favourite sports. For information and registration please contact the CASL office on the 2nd floor. The file to be used to benefit from this service includes the following parts: a completed and signed information sheet, two envelopes 23 cm x 16 cm stamped with name and address and a medical certificate not contraindicated for the practice of physical and sports activities. The sports department also participates greatly in the organisation of major sporting events in Avignon, such as the tower of the Ramparts, 10 km from the papal city and the hay festival.
