Formerly IUP SOCIATY, created in 1991, it has become CERI for CAUSE reform. This 4 500 m 2 building located within the Agroparc site is equipped with two amphitheatres, nine guided work rooms and nine computer rooms of 12 posts each. The establishment brings together all the computer training courses of the University of Avignon (License, Master, Doctorate) for access to professions such as network administrator, web site designer (Lac +3), project leader, information systems architect (Lac +5) or research engineer in public service, Research and Development engineer (Lac +8). From the Master, pupils can choose the option of alternating studies over two years or move towards training abroad through a network of foreign universities (Europe, North America and Latin America) partners. Also, possibility of obtaining a LE in COMPUTER after training takes place in May and June. CERI also houses the premises of the LIA (Laboratoire Informatique d'Avignon), a unit consisting of teachers-researchers and research engineers and which provides the necessary support for the doctoral training in computer science.
